Stuart and Val at Woodlea recently had the pleasure of an overnight stay from Ian Greenwood Ian is a paramedic based at Shoreditch who is a keen biking enthusiast and is aiming to raise at least £2,500 for 'Help for Heroes', which helps wounded servicemen and women. His 10-day 3,100 mile charity ride started on 1st March 2010 and is a lap of the United Kingdom's coastal roads starting at Waterloo Ambulance Station, then on to Hastings and going clockwise down to Penzance, up to Wales and Scotland and back down to Waterloo via Hastings. Ian, from Hemel Hempstead, said: “I love my bike and I’ve not done anything like this before. I have friends from the army and I wanted to do my bit to raise money for those who are wounded. They deserve the best care and funding.” If you would like to sponsor Ian please visit www.justgiving.co.uk/alapofbritain |
